Jason Alan Snyder in Adweek on why urgency without understanding is the wrong foundation for any AI strategy.

Fear is driving AI adoption right now. Not curiosity. Not strategy. Fear of being left behind.
Adweek contributor Robert Klara explored why, and quoted Jason on the dynamic we see with every brand and team we work with:
“I don’t think people are adopting AI because they love it; they’re adopting it because they don’t want to be the last person who didn’t.”
When fear is the primary motivator, the strategy suffers. Urgency without understanding produces tools that nobody trusts, workflows that nobody follows, and investments that nobody can explain six months later.
Real adoption is built on the opposite: a clear picture of what the technology actually does, what it cannot do, and what it changes about how decisions get made. That is the work we do with every client before anyone touches a tool.
